CrSJ Young Scientist Best
Poster Presentation Award (YSBPPA) |
CrSJ started last year offerring YSBPPA for
young scientist based on the RIGAKU Fund.
The purpose of the award is to encourage
excellence in crystallographic research by
investigators in the developmental stages
of their career. The author must be under
35 years old. CrSJ ?YSBPPA in 2006 will be
given to poster presenters of the AsCA2006.
To be considered for this award, you must
first register for the AsCA2006 and submit
a poster abstract.
The following are criteria to be a candidate
of the award:
- Any participants of AsCA2006 age younger
than 35 as of May 31, 2006.
- May submit only one poster for consideration
of the award
- Be the first author of the presentation
- Should have performed the major portion of
the work
- Presence at the poster display is required
during the scheduled evaluation by judges,
which will take place on the morning of Tuesday,
Nov. 21st.
In your application form of poster presentation,
please indicate that you are submitting the
application for consideration of YSBPPA by
ticking the appropriate box and your date
of birth in the WEB registration page.
The award selection will be based on the
evaluation of both scientific content and presentation technique of the poster. The
judges will evaluate the posters and report
their results to CrSJ in the afternoon of
21st.
The awardees will be announced at the General
Assembly of CRSJ held in the same afternoon
and their names will be displayed on the
information board. At the Banquet on the
same evening (Nov. 21st ) each awardee will receive a certificate
of the award and 30,000 yen. The awarded
posters will be displayed at the Banquet
venue.
